This MT2-B22 Drill Chuck Arbor suits keyed and keyless chucks with a female B22 taper in the body. It is used to mount the chuck in the quill of a pillar drill or in the tailstock or headstock of a lathe with a matching Morse taper. The double taper design preserves concentricity and both tapers are self-locking. The Morse taper end fits into a machine spindle and the B taper end is compatible with a B series taper drill chuck. Morse taper spindles are most often found on drill presses. These arbors are made of hardened, precision-ground steel.
