T-Handle Tap Wrenches
Use with a tap to thread holes by hand. These wrenches are more compact than straight-handle tap wrenches, so they can be used to tap in tighter spaces. However, they provide less leverage.
Wrenches with aligner square your tap to your work surface for proper alignment and reduced tap breakage. A V-groove at the base provides stability on round surfaces.
Sliding handle moves from side to side to allow tapping in spaces where fixed handles don’t have room to turn.
Sliding ratcheting handle moves from side to side and can lock in a fixed position. It adjusts for right- or left-hand ratcheting.
Machine-mount wrenches have a guide shank that fits into the chuck on your drill press and holds the tap steady. Use them after drilling to thread holes manually without moving the workpiece.
